Functional Blood Testing & Analysis
root-cause blood tests: London & uk
At the Advanced Nutrition Clinic in London, we offer comprehensive functional blood testing — going far beyond standard NHS panels. Our advanced analyses detect hidden nutrient imbalances, inflammation, metabolic issues, thyroid dysfunction, and early disease trends long before symptoms worsen.
Functional blood analysis is one of the most powerful tools we use to uncover the root causes of fatigue, brain fog, poor digestion, weight gain, or hormonal imbalance — helping you understand your body with precision and clarity.
Our premium blood tests are interpreted through a functional medicine lens, not just a “normal range” — meaning you get a truly personalised view of your health.

Why Choose Functional Blood Analysis
Unlike standard blood tests, functional blood analysis uncovers your hidden imbalances via a computer generated analysis. It detects imbalances and root-causes that can explain symptoms that can’t be detected in other tests.
Whilst is not a scientific measure or diagnostic, we’ve found it to be a remarkable tool when working with chronic diseases and inflammatory.
It can flush out imbalances that were impossible to guess or identify even in functional tests, and we recommend it to anyone struggling to get to the root of their health issues.
Whilst the tests are expensive, we would generally recommend investing in the larger panels. These tests are loved by high net worth client and those who see the value in prioritising their health over material things.
how to order blood tests
-
Step 1
Most blood tests are part of our 1:1 Root-cause intensive programme or the 1:1 Root-Cause Foundation Programme, where we create bespoke panels for you.
If you’re curious to see what test you need, go to ‘Tell me which Test I Need’
Tests that are ordered for you will arrive by post to your home address with all your instructions.
Top Tip: Schedule the blood draw immediately so that it gets done.
-
Step 2
After arranging your blood draw appointment, you either attend your preferred Phlebotomist in Central London (just off Oxford street - Tottenham Court Road end) - Or, you arrange one where you live.
Note that if you arrange a blood draw yourself you may just need to arrange for the sample return to lab yourself. Instructions in your kit.
-
Step 3
Results take circa2-3- weeks to come back, and you will receive your results and interpretation over our secure software.
Depending on the test, your results may be shared with your GP, or you may be encouraged to do so yourself.
If you’re not on a programme, can also book a session to find out what we would advise you to do following the results.
